Keeps selling off-grid
Turn offline mode on and open the sale screen once on each tablet while you still have signal — that is what caches the screen, your items and your customers. Cash and manual tenders keep ringing while you are dark. Back on the network the queue uploads itself if auto-sync is on, or waits behind a Sync Offline Sales button until someone presses it — stock and reports only move once it has gone through, and a token on each sale keeps it from posting twice. Card terminals do need a signal, so plan on cash for the gaps.
A window, not a counter
Set the register to Touch UI and the sale screen becomes a product grid beside a cart, sized for fingers. The phone app turns the device camera into a barcode scanner, and Android prints to a paired ESC/POS receipt printer through a helper app.
Every truck counts its own drawer
Open with a counted float, log every cash drop, and close by counting denominations — over/short and the deposit amount land in the register log. Run more than one truck and each can be its own location, with its own stock, taxes, closeout report and kitchen board. Each additional location is licensed separately.

A good fit if
- Your customers order at a counter, a window, or a truck, and pay there.
- You want the order on a kitchen screen as soon as the cashier suspends the sale, without licensing a second system.
- You also sell packaged goods, beans, merchandise, or gift cards, and want them counted in the same inventory.
If the order is taken at the counter, chairs are fine — twelve tables and a patio are fine. What matters is where the order is taken, not whether people sit down to eat it.
Not a fit if
- Staff take the order where the customer is sitting, then keep adding to the same open ticket until the customer is ready to pay. PHP Point Of Sale has no ticket that stays open against a place in the room.
- You need a floor plan, seat numbers, or separate checks per person. PHP Point Of Sale has none of those.
- If that is how you serve, a full-service system will suit you better than we will.
